Our Story
Shane Parashonts is a nationally recognized business leader and trusted advisor to Tribal Nations, known for driving transformational economic growth and strengthening long-term sovereignty. His work sits at the intersection of leadership, economic development, and cultural alignment—helping communities turn vision into measurable, generational impact.
Throughout his career, Shane has partnered closely with tribal organizations to advance initiatives that expand opportunity, strengthen governance, and improve socioeconomic outcomes. His leadership is defined by a commitment to building systems and strategies that endure—creating lasting value for both current and future generations.
He holds an Associate of Arts from Dixie State College, along with a Bachelor of Science in Management and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Human Resource Management from the University of Phoenix. He also earned a Certificate in Human Resource Management.

Shane has been a keynote speaker at American Indian Honoring Ceremonies and has received national recognition for his business leadership. He was also nominated as Director of Indian Affairs for the State of Utah. His contributions have supported impactful initiatives, including the launch of Salish Kootenai College’s first capital campaign and the national recognition of Suh’dutsing Technologies by Ernst & Young.
His service extends beyond his professional work, including roles with the SUU Leadership Institute Colloquium, Southern Utah Museum of Art Advisory Board, Iron Leaders Academy Advisory Board, and the SUU Presidential Inauguration Planning Committee. Earlier in life, he participated in the 2002 Winter Olympic Opening Ceremonies and served a two-year mission in the Philippines.
In 2026, Shane founded Parashonts Advisory, a firm dedicated to helping Tribal Nations build strong economies, develop leadership capacity, and advance economic sovereignty. The firm partners with tribal governments and enterprises to co-create strategies rooted in each Nation’s values, governance, and long-term vision.
Parashonts Advisory operates on the belief that sustainable tribal economies are built at the intersection of strong leadership, clear vision, cultural alignment, and disciplined execution. Rather than traditional consulting, Shane and his team work alongside clients as trusted advisors—ensuring knowledge, systems, and leadership capabilities remain within the Nation long after the engagement ends.
Shane and his wife are the proud parents of four children. Outside of his work, he enjoys golf, travel, and spending meaningful time with his family.
